A recognized leader in performance marketing, is searching for a talented and experienced Associate Director, Data Strategy to join their growing Technology team.

In this pivotal role, you'll be a strategic leader, guiding our performance marketers and their clients to extract maximum value from their data. You'll orchestrate multi-channel data and predictive analytics projects end-to-end, ensuring clients have a comprehensive understanding of their marketing performance.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Lead and manage Data Strategy & Analytics projects for a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients.
  • Partner with technical experts (Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Reporting) to craft data-driven solutions tailored to each client's MarTech stack and business goals.
  • Champion data governance best practices, collaborating with clients to build comprehensive data models and taxonomies for seamless reporting and media planning.
  • Work closely with paid media buyers to analyze performance data and optimize campaign outcomes.
  • Mentor mid-level Data Strategists, ensuring quality deliverables and best practices.
  • Lead a Data Strategy Pod with technical specialists, maximizing the value of their data services.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by identifying new measurement needs and developing scalable solutions for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex data concepts into actionable insights.
  • Drive efficiency by creating standardized Asana templates for project management and reporting.

You're a perfect fit if you have:

  • 6+ years of experience working in digital media and marketing, with a proven track record of success in data strategy.
  • 6+ years of experience working with media data.
  • Strong client-facing experience at a digital media or performance marketing agency.
  • Deep understanding of marketing and advertising technology platforms (think Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Expertise in data model building and data governance across multiple ad platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), adept at simplifying complex data concepts for non-technical audiences.

Bonus points if you have:

  • 1+ years of people management experience fostering a high-performing team.
  • Experience with statistical concepts and marketing analytics (Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, etc.).
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement partners (AppsFlyer, Kochava) and app tracking solutions.
  • Experience visualizing data in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms.
