Automation Technical PM -6 months+ 

Next Ventures are looking for a Automation Technical Project Manager for a 6+ month extendable contract with a large client in the Data Center industry.

The Role

  • Responsible for DSI (Design System Integrator) engagement, Technical compliance, scheduling and coordination for a specified EMEA region.
  • Tactical Coordination of on-site Automation Construction PM’s in your designated region.
  • Responsible for engagement with NSD, Sales & Solutions and DE to ensure WS3/4 design pack review are appointed to the correct DSI
  • Lead the selection process for the DSI & CSI by the GC is fulfilled on time (according to the project delivery date) and to scope collaboratively with the Construction PMs & MEP Coordinators
  • Ensure all required design and change instructions for the BMS/Controls design package is approved by the Construction PMs and extensively reviewed by the Automation SMEs and DSI (Design System Integrator)
  • Coordinate the review for the BMS/Controls documents of WS4 (or WS3 for a D&B) against the Design Management Tool deliverables for QA/QC towards the Issue For Construction Design Pack
  • Management and reporting of BMS/Controls tasks and dependencies for development and remediation projects
  • Review and coordinate project resources against the construction and commissioning schedules for EMEA Projects
  • Coordinate the review of Technical Submittals & Cx scripts from Equipment Suppliers, System Integrators and Cx Agents by Automation SMEs

Your Skills & Experience

  • Data center experience is preferred, experience in space/power management for colocation environments
  • Experience with large scale construction projects
  • Experience of Automation systems in mission critical environments, designing cages and other infrastructure
  • Excellent communication skills
