Business Data Analyst 

Team

The objective of the “Third-Party Security” team is to ensure that the security and business continuity measures implemented by Euroclear’s third-parties (Clients and service providers) are aligned with the company’s risk appetite in order to minimize cybersecurity risks throughout the relationship with third-parties.

To realize its objective, the team collaborates across the organisation, with other CISO division teams, Procurement, business teams (e.g. Procurement & Commercial) and functions such as IT, Risk Management and Compliance. 

Role

As a Business Data analyst, you’ll support data-informed decision making. Your responsibilities will be the following:

• Data Collection and Cleansing: Identify and gather relevant data from various sources, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and completeness. Conduct data cleansing and transformation to prepare the data for analysis.
• Data Integration: Create requirements for integrating data (as well as workflows to maintain those data) into ServiceNow & validate the correct implementation of those requirements by external developers.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform advanced data analysis using various tools and techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, gaps. Extract key insights and present findings in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
• Data Modelling and Visualization: Develop data models and visualizations to present complex information in a visually appealing and easy-to-understand manner. Use tools such as Excel, or Power BI to create dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations.
• Activity Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop regular reports to track business performance. Identify trends and anomalies and provide insights on areas for improvement or optimization.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex analytical concepts and findings to stakeholders across the organization. Collaborate with different teams to align data analysis initiatives with business objectives.

This role requires a strong blend of business skills, analytical skills, and technical expertise.

• The candidate shall demonstrate previous practical experience (at least 5 years) as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Ability to present the data in the form of packs, rapports, graphs, etc. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or MS SQL 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, ClickView or similar.
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong business acumen and ability to understand and translate business requirements into data analysis tasks.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge & previous practical experience with ServiceNow (especially CMDB, IRM & ITSM modules),
• Knowledge and/or past experience in financial domain and Information Security is a plus
• Education: Bachelor/Master’s degree (Computer Science, Information Security or Business Science).
