Change communications manager for S4 Hana Ariba program

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Change Communication specialist who has experience working with communication for transformation/implementation of  SAP/S4 Hana and Ariba.

Location: 

Based in Europe and have the possibility to travel now and then within Europe.


Duration: 02-Sep-2024 - 31-Aug-2025
Working on European time zones

Target rate SEK 650 per hour  (£50 per hour plus expenses).
Must be able to go on site and be available for some client site visits in Europe so EU or UK passport is essential.



Background

To ensure and enable effective change communication to successfully implement transformation in the countries. Ensuring effective communication & engagement approach, communication flows and impactful messaging in communication materials. To drive an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the clients values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.

Key Tasks:
• Identify, propose and execute the most effective communication and engagement activities in order to meet the identified stakeholders and target groups, including desired actions and change of behaviors.
• Create compelling messages, develop consistent messaging across various channel that fosters positive relationships with stakeholders and target groups. (e.g. presentation materials, graphics, Instructional emails, videos)
• Review and follow up on change communication materials, including local communication and the engagement plans to ensure consistent messaging that clearly articulates the needed change in actions and behaviors.
• Capture and feed communication and engagement metrics into change tracking and measurement activities
• Proactively plan ahead and adjust when required, to improving communication materials. Incorporating feedback and integrating new information ensures that your messaging remains effective and relevant
• Work closely with central and local project teams during the business transformation to ensure that communication materials maintain high quality, consistency and accuracy.

To deliver:
• Common communication and engagement approach including communication materials available.
• Advise and assist the change implementation facilitators in embedding communications and engagement topics within Change Networks.
• Monitor and measure progress of the communication and engagement plans

Requirements:
Capabilities and Knowledge
• Ability to communicate complex issues and concepts in a simple, clear, engaging and inspirational way.
• Ability to lead and work in the “unknown” and deal with a high amount of ambiguity during certain phases of transformation.
• Ability to handle multiple topics and changing priorities/deadlines
• Proactive attitude in problem solving and hands-on approach when necessary
• Ability to deliver consistent messages and to perform work with care, accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong ability to set the goals, follow through, deliver and follow up
• Extensive knowledge how to lead change with communication as focus
• Extensive knowledge on project-, process- and stakeholder management, in a continuously changing environment, to keep our co-workers well informed, engaged and empowered
• Be up to date with media trends and what is happening in the world of communication and turn it into practice
 
Key previous experience and proven skills

• Proven advanced training in strategic/tactical communications and change management or equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in internal and external communications
• Experience in project management and implementations
• Experience in both SAP S4Hana / Ariba implementations/transformations communication
• Solid experience with leading in change and organisational transformation
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
