Install, configure, and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, and other virtualization platforms.
Monitor and troubleshoot VMware environments to ensure system stability and availability.
Design and implement virtualized solutions for servers, storage, and networking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VMware with existing IT infrastructure.
Perform capacity planning and optimize virtual environments for performance.
Implement disaster recovery solutions and ensure high availability configurations.
Manage virtual machines, resource allocation, and load balancing within VMware clusters.
Document configuration settings, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for VMware environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience in VMware administration and engineering.
Proficiency in VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter Server.
Experience with virtual networking concepts (NSX) and storage technologies.
Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with scripting for automation (PowerCLI, Bash, or Python).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
