We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our engineering and technology strategy, enabling us to scale and remain at the forefront of the fintech industry.

Job Description:
As CTO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for driving the company’s technical vision and strategy. You will lead a diverse team of engineers, architects, and technical leaders, ensuring the successful design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure fintech solutions. This is a strategic and hands-on role requiring a deep understanding of our technology stack and the ability to align technical initiatives with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a technology strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and long-term vision.
• Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team, fostering a high-performance, innovative culture.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of our platform using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Unix, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and reliability to meet the demands of a rapidly growing customer base.
• Drive the adoption of modern development practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with product and business teams to align technology initiatives with customer needs and market trends.
• Manage the technology budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, ensuring the company remains ahead of industry trends and competitors.
• Ensure robust security and compliance practices, particularly in the context of financial services regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • 10+ years of managerial experience in technology leadership roles, ideally in fintech or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of scaling engineering teams and delivering large-scale, mission-critical systems.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Unix/Linux, AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and data streaming platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial technology regulations and security standards is a strong plus.
