About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Manager to lead a team of 25 security professionals dedicated to providing exceptional security services for a key customer. This role will oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC), penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and the integration of DevOps security practices. You will play a vital role in managing security incidents, ensuring the implementation of security protocols, and optimizing security operations in a dynamic international environment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 25 security professionals, including SOC analysts, penetration testers, vulnerability scanning experts, and DevOps engineers.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment to ensure effective service delivery to the client.
    • Coordinate daily activities and performance reviews, ensuring team alignment with customer objectives and security goals.
  • Security Operations:
    • Oversee the operation of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring continuous monitoring and quick response to security threats.
    • Manage and enhance penetration testing and vulnerability scanning efforts, ensuring a proactive security posture.
    • Establish and enforce security protocols, processes, and best practices for monitoring, detecting, and mitigating threats.
    • DevOps Security Integration:
      • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to integrate security practices within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
      • Implement automation and security testing processes to ensure secure code deployment and infrastructure management.
      • Customer Relationship Management:
        • Maintain a strong relationship with the customer, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with their evolving security needs.
        • Provide regular reports, updates, and strategic recommendations regarding security posture, incidents, and ongoing improvements.
        • Act as the primary security point of contact for the customer’s international teams, addressing concerns and providing guidance on security-related matters.
        • Incident Management & Response:
          • Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating the team and resources to quickly resolve issues while minimizing impact.
          • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
          • International Context Management:
            • Navigate and manage security challenges within an international context, ensuring compliance with global security standards and regional regulations.
            • Work across time zones and different security landscapes, providing consistent support and guidance to teams and stakeholders worldwide.
