Data Center PM – Denmark

Are you an experienced Data Center Project Manager looking for your next challenge? Join us in a critical role where you’ll oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of data center projects across Denmark, including Kalundborg, Funen, and Zealand. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge infrastructure and technologies in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

 

Location: Based in Denmark (Zealand or Funen preferred) | Contract Type: Freelance/Contract

Duration: 6-Month Rolling Contract (Likely Extension) | Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day project management activities.
  • Plan and schedule data center project timelines, ensuring milestone tracking and resource alignment.
  • Oversee tasks related to defining, building, and operating IT Data Center facilities.
  • Establish and maintain standardized data center/server/patch room environments for production sites.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align objectives and manage risk.

 

Key Activities

  • Manage vendors during the building and operation of new data centers.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with the team and stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans covering timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and feasibility studies.
  • Monitor progress, KPIs, and procurement activities, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts for comprehensive project execution.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Proven experience with infrastructure and technologies in large corporations.
  • Expertise in specifying, designing, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions for enterprise environments.
  • Strong track record in managing large-scale IT projects.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management, ITIL processes (ITIL Foundation certification preferred), and generic infrastructure technologies.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical processes and compliance is highly desirable.

 

 

  • Frequent travel across Kalundborg, Funen, and Zealand will be required, so the ideal candidate must be based in Denmark.
