Acting as Data Engineer you will: • Work within an engineering squad to develop and deliver high quality software solutions under the guidance of senior team members that solve specific business problems and grow Nike’s digital businesses.

Key Accountabilities
• Provide software solutions that scale appropriately and perform to defined service level agreements

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, product and agile to develop the right business or technical solution
• Ensure on-going proper functioning of software solutions in production using testing best practices
• Maintain a consistent high level of code quality
• Consistently meet commitments and deliverables according to agreed upon timelines
• Estimates deliverables leveraging current examples and experiences • Knowledge sharing through documentation, presentations, pair programming and other mechanisms
• Provide operational cover and monitorability of your squad’s application(s) in production
• Be a part of Nike’s engineering culture
, • Be an active member of the community of practice and Nike’s engineering culture, advocating for engineering excellence and innovation

Functional Competencies:
• Proficiency in Python, Spark and data engineering paradigms​
• Iterative delivery of software to production
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing, CI/CD and DevOps principles
