Data Lake Hadoop Engineer

- assist in maintenance, support and operations of a medium sized Hadoop cluster (MapR flavor)
- perform tasks including, but not limited to: GSN ITIL actions, ticket processing, support/administrative actions on Hadoop cluster, configuration tuning of Hadoop services to optimize end point performance of users in transmitting data.

A good knowledge of tools/systems such as these are required: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, YARN, Python, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bash scription, RHEL administration and troubleshooting capabilities
A good to have is knowledge and experience of automation and DevOps tools/processes to compliment the support actions with automation.
Target: Resolving support cases and tickets, optimizing the file transfers, configurations and computation applications
