A top financial lending client of Next Ventures is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join their team.
Their technology incubation team seeks to anticipate and engineer the future of lending. Projects on the horizon include intuitive client facing apps, probabilistic financial modeling, due diligence automation, and data-driven credit underwriting. Members of the team are given the autonomy to explore ways to innovate and improve every facet of commercial lending.

• Over 3 years of pertinent development experience
• Proficiency in Python and PyTest
• Proficient in crafting both synchronous and asynchronous code
• A solid comprehension of web applications, encompassing network interactions, sessions, and authentication processes
• Proficiency in git operations
• In-depth knowledge of state management, with experience in various state management frameworks
• Proficient in ES2020+
• Design and construct API endpoints
• Implement an MVC architecture using either comprehensive frameworks (e.g., Django) or lightweight frameworks (e.g., FastAPI)
• Engage with organized and unstructured databases through ORM and direct queries
• Enforce authentication and employ other security measures
• Develop unit and integration tests
• Create React components for web applications
• Develop front-end unit tests using Jest
• Produce readable and concise JavaScript code
• Contribute to design and UX planning
• Background in deploying web applications across diverse cloud hosting platforms
• Capability to generate/deploy Docker containers
• Familiarity with typed languages, like Go
• Experience with both monolithic and micro-service architectures.
• Demonstrates a strong design sense and familiarity with established UX patterns
• Experience in prototyping using tools like Framer, Figma, or Adobe XD
• Ability to style using CSS (or CSS preprocessor) and CSS-in-JS (JSS)
• Familiarity with Material UI components or a similar component library
• Experience with JavaScript animations
