Embedded SW Engineer

Hi,

For our client in the automotive industry based in Paris area I'm looking for a Embedded SW Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and operate the DevOps capabilities of the PO Software House
Understand system requirements and software requirements related to PO products
Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team (system, hardware, algorithms, scientific researcher ) to ensure software development coherence vs. global product development.
Work closely with product owner to prioritize the items to be delivered
Manage integration and testing of embedded software components.
Manage Release train planning and Software delivery
Perform software unit testing, integration and qualification testing where required
Contributes to appropriate procedures and documentation and capitalizes knowledge

REQUIREMENTS

University Degree in Electronic Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
At least 10 years of experience in development and integration embedded software applications preferably for automotive
Excellent programming skills in C and good scripting skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, C# etc.)
Experience with DevOps toolchain: JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins.
Experience with different microcontroller architectures and communication buses
Strong experience with AUTOSAR architecture, methodology and toolchain
Experience with MBD development for embedded targets (MATLAB/Simulink)
Good practical skills of agile methodologies at team level and organization level as well as traditional development methodologies (SCRUM, LeSS, SAFe, V-Model)
Master automotive quality and safety standards (Automotive SPICE, ISO26262)
Good logical reasoning and problem investigation/resolution
Knowledge on requirements management (DOORS),
Good understanding of the functional safety,
Knowledge and experience on Vector Tools (CANape, CANoe, Canalyzer)
knowledge of radio frequency physics and signal processing will be highly appreciated
Good capacity of listening and communication skills
Team spirit and able to work autonomously
Fluent English

Contract : Freelance
Start date: ASAP
Duration : 6 months + extension
Rate: 400€ - 520€ (Depending on experience)
