ePP/DS Functional Consultant

SAP ePP/DS Functional ConsultantProject Overview:
Next Ventures is seeking two experienced SAP ePP/DS Functional Consultants for a long-term implementation project with a consumer goods client based in Europe. This project is focused on implementing a robust scheduling solution and follows a clean core approach, leveraging a private cloud environment with an existing solution template (not a greenfield).Position Details:
- Location: Remote (Worldwide); occasional on-site workshops may be required.
- Start Date: Immediate
- Engagement Type: Freelance
Client Industry: Consumer Goods - Language: English fluency required. Swedish, French, or German are advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and deliver SAP ePP/DS scheduling functionalities in alignment with the existing solution template.
- Avoid unnecessary custom development – adhere to clean core principles.
- Act as a functional expert with a strong grasp of business context, not just configuration.
- Participate in remote and occasional on-site workshops with client stakeholders.
- Support implementation across integrated systems; note: MES handled outside of ePP/DS scope.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP ePP/DS; 10+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end implementation projects, particularly in consumer goods or similar industries.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, planning, and integration within the broader SAP landscape.
- Business process-oriented mindset with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a structured project team.
