Java design, build and test (T-shaped). As a senior developer you are familiar with both the back-end and the front-end of an application. Angular, Continuous Delivery / Integration. An experienced person who can take the lead, find a way in new situations, and in old applications. Initiative, familiar with the (technical) environments we use at duo, not afraid to help colleagues. As a senior programmer able to act as lead programmer. Supports testers in test automation and less experienced programmers in day-to-day work. The latter in particular in the field of Angular.

Background assignment
In the short term we are looking for a senior developer for a DEVOPS team. The team manages a number of applications and takes care of the development of new applications. The current application landscape will be upgraded to Angular and will also be migrated to a new cloud platform. In this team you work closely with analysts, designers, builders, testers and technical application management.
Job requirements
Extensive experience in an Agile/scrum environment / DevOps team (3 years);
Relevant work experience in a Java EE 8/11/17 environment (3 years);
Relevant work experience with Angular (3 years);
Extensive experience with front-end development / Angular and extensive experience with JAVA;
Experience in setting up a new application.

Nice to have
  • Relevant knowledge of SpringBoot;
  • Relevant knowledge of Hibernate;
  • Relevant knowledge of SOAP, RESTful services;
  • Relevant knowledge of Cloud/Openshift/Docker;
  • Affinity with OPS/Management activities.
  • Work experience in supporting testers and less experienced programmers in their daily work;
  • Work experience in towing developers.
