Hi, 

Our client in the automotive industry based in Ingolstadt is looking for a Functional Safety Manager.

Role Objective

Lead Functional Safety planning and execution as per ISO 26262, manage DIA, coordinate safety activities, conduct Confirmation Reviews, manage audits, and ensure delivery of all Safety Work Products.

Key Responsibilities
-- Lead ISO 26262 planning and coordination across ORU scope.
-- Develop DIA for ORU Functional Safety deliverables.
-- Drive Impact Analysis for CRs and adapt Safety Work Products.
-- Manage Safety Case documentation.
-- Conduct Confirmation Reviews and Functional Safety audits.
-- Coordinate with CARIAD FuSa team and stakeholders.
-- Plan, track, and report FuSa activities.
-- Facilitate workshops with safety stakeholders.

Required Skills-
-- ISO 26262 planning, coordination, and compliance.
-- DIA development and negotiation.
-- Safety Work Product management.
-- Impact Analysis leadership.
-- Confirmation Review and audit management.
-- Tools: Jira, Safety doc repositories, FMEA/DFA/FTA tools.
-- Strong project management and communication.
-- Experience Level- 8+ years in Functional Safety, ISO 26262 leadership roles.

Contract : Freelance 
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months + extension 
Location: Ingolstadt, Germany 
Conditions: Hybrid 
Rate: Depending on experience
