We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Architect to design and implement cloud-based solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will be responsible for leading the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure while ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical best practices. As a GCP Cloud Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions that drive innovation and efficiency.
Design and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud Functions.
Lead architecture design sessions with internal teams to gather requirements, define architecture principles, and create detailed cloud solution designs.
Develop and maintain best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance on GCP.
Provide technical leadership and guidance during the planning, development, and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
Work with DevOps teams to implement automation using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
Ensure that cloud infrastructure is optimized for performance, cost, and scalability.
Implement and manage cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy, roadmaps, and migration plans.
Perform cloud cost management, including resource optimization and budgeting to ensure cost-effective cloud operations.
Required:
5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expertise in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Pub/Sub.
Solid experience in designing cloud-native applications and architectures that are scalable, secure, and highly available.
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security.
Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
Proficient in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines in a cloud environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Understanding of cost management practices in the cloud and experience optimizing cloud infrastructure costs.
