Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Global Process Owner - Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Process with Basware experience .

Reports to:
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Head of Procurement
Location :Poland Warsaw.
Locally based consultant preferred that can be available for onsite / hybrid working.
Languages: Polish and fluent business level English.
Start date 2 to 3 weeks time.
40 hours per week
12-18 months contract.

Job Purpose:
The Global Process Owner for the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end P2P workflow across the organization. This role involves implementing and managing SAP and Basware systems to drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and support strategic procurement and payment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Management and Optimization:
    • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the P2P process to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier relationships.
    • Monitor process performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  2. Technology Implementation and Management:
    • Lead the deployment and customization of SAP and Basware systems to meet organizational requirements.
    • Ensure integration of SAP and Basware with other business systems, providing a seamless P2P experience.
    • Train and support staff on the effective use of SAP and Basware solutions.
  3. Basware Integration:
    • Utilize Basware’s procurement solutions to automate invoice processing, enhance spend visibility, and ensure timely payments.
    • Manage the Basware system to optimize procurement and payment workflows, ensuring the system meets organizational needs.
    • Liaise with Basware support and development teams to address system issues and implement updates.
  4. Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure that all procurement and payment activities comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the P2P process, including supplier risk and operational risks.
  5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, procurement, IT, and suppliers, to align P2P processes with business objectives.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for P2P-related issues and initiatives, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
  6. Performance Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize data analytics to monitor and report on P2P process performance.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on analytical findings.
  7. Change Management:
    • Lead change initiatives related to the P2P process, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Manage the impact of process and system changes on the organization, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
  8. Project Management:
    • Oversee P2P-related projects, including system upgrades, process redesigns, and strategic initiatives.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in procurement, finance, or supply chain management, with a focus on the Procure-to-Pay process.
    • Proven experience with SAP and Basware systems implementation and management.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
    • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional projects.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
    • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to procurement and payments.
    • Ability to drive change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Proficiency in using Basware’s procurement solutions and tools.
