Graph Data Engineer

Work with business stakeholders to design schemas, define entities and relationships to model structured and unstructured data
from diverse sources for ingestion into the knowledge graph
Integrate additional internal and external data sources to expand the data coverage of the knowledge graph
Implement and maintain robust and scalable ingestion workflows for data feeding into the AKS-hosted knowledge graph
Implement, monitor, and analyze key data quality indicators to ensure high-quality data within the knowledge graph
Develop machine learning models to infer new connections and deduplicate data within the graph
Participate in architectural decisions and conduct code reviews
Participate in project meetings in accordance with the SCRUM methodology (daily, planning, review, retro, …)
Adhere to security, compliance, and data privacy requirements.
My qualifications
Experience with Knowledge Graphs (e.g. with Neo4j or TigerGraph)
Experience with graph languages (e.g. SPARQL, GraphQL, Cypher)
Fluent in Python with experience in writing clean and well-tested code
Experience with building ETL pipelines and with workflow engines (e.g. Argo Workflows)
Excellent communication skills
Experience with cloud platforms, such as Microsoft Azure
Experience with large-scale data processing such as PySpark (e.g. in Databricks)
Familiarity with troubleshooting database issues and perform backup and recovery procedures
Proficient in professional software development practices and enterprise code management, including branching, reviewing,
merging, and scaling of code
Familiarity with SCRUM methodology for agile project management
Nice to have: Understanding of graph traversal and graph algorithms, Experience with logging and alerting (e.g.
Datadog), Experience with semantic search technologies, such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Elastic or similar platforms
