Next Ventures are searching currently for a freelance IT Cut-Over manager for part of a Global SAP S4 Hana programme.
The role is more to oversee, than do the cut over. The Global Cut-Over plan is in place; but will need support in local execution, supporting the work done by the implementation partner.
Czech or Slovak Language would be preferred but not essential.
IT Cut-over PM
All phases: Stakeholder Management of IT resources at the country (All BUs)
Project Management: RAID Management and escalation on a Cluster level Key contact person during the execution of Cutover activities within the cluster.
Test phase: Ensures resources and system availability needed for integration of local applications/interfaces Supporting analysis, development and testing of local interfaces Ensures the preparation of the Cut Over with all Country specific ramp-down / ramp-up activities to ensure a smooth business transition into the programme.
Cutover: Key contact person during the execution of Cut Over activities during Go-Live within a Cluster Use the project staffing defined by country PM and Local BU leads as an input to staff and schedule cutover activities. Raises resourcing gaps to local PM Monitors and Coordinates actual cutover execution from a country perspective in alignment with the country PM Supports the preparation of Go- / No-Go Criteria
Hypercare: Mobilizes resources for Hypercare support based on the project timelines provided by the core team
Other points: Generally I am looking for a person who will act as a main driver on cluster level during cutover and will be able to support with IT development and partly testing (UAT of SAP interfaces) activities before that – for that I am need a person with some IT background, not really a developer as he/she will have coordinating role + built phase is already gone anyway. Person needs to be reasonably stress resistant and open for agile way of thinking. Location wise – CET,GMT,EET timezone. CEE region preferred.
Initial training – person handling previous phase is still available for handover as she is on different position in the company and agreed the handover. Start – latest one month pre-cutover (currently May 23). Optimal is to start earlier as handover can take some time. End – Hypercare Gate 6 (September 23)
