Lead Test Developer

Lead Test Automation Engineer – Leading Financial Advisors – Frankfurt (Hybrid)

We are recruiting for the largest financial advisory firm in the DACH region, who are supported by the biggest banking and insurance institutions in Europe. Their entire business is going through a massive digital transformation and we are searching for several Lead Test Automation Engineers to join their core team in Frankfurt.

The product you will be working on will support over 40,000 financial advisors and wealth managers, who work with customers to maximise their wealth portfolio and insurance plans. As part of the transformation, they have migrated their core product to a modern Java – Microservice based architecture, running in cloud native environment using Docker, Kubernetes and Azure.

You will be part of a cross functional team full of experienced and highly talented developers, QAs, product owners and requirement engineer. They are following a 2 weekly sprints in Agile framework, with a focus developing highly scalable cutting edge financial platform, which can ingest high volumes of data and perform complex calculations & projections.

Tech stack: Javascript, Typescript, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure and related tools & frameworks.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field.
  • You have experience in developing enterprise applications, ideally in a cloud native environment.
  • You have practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and place an emphasis on continuous testing.
  • You have proven experience in providing technical guidance to development teams and are enthusiastic about new technologies, automation and IT security.
  • You are proficient in TypeScript as a software developer and have knowledge of implementing optimal test automation (e.g. using Playwright).
  • You are familiar with DevOps and agile methods and value meeting deadlines and clearly defined scopes.
