Oracle Financials Project manager

NV are looking for an Oracle Project manager for a permanent hire.

£50-70K depending on level of experience

The customer have a number of projects which include an eventual transformation and migration of their ERP system to the cloud.

Candidates must be prepared for onsite presence of 2x days per week in Didcot

Candidates will be judged on the basis of the following criteria, and should ensure that their application shows how they meet these criteria:

 

A high level of general education to degree level or equivalent.

Significant Oracle R12 EBS and/or Oracle cloud experience, demonstrating a broad and deep understanding of the system.

Proven project management experience, including the successful implementation of a sizable enterprise-wide application.

Proven experience of managing, influencing and participating in large scale business change initiatives.

Proven accountability for sizable budgets, and adherence to these budgets for the projects delivered.

Experience of using industry standard project management methodologies and tools.

Proven successful risk mitigation and quality management experience.

Experience of working in a complex environment where there is a wide range of parallel and mutually dependent activities.

Previous experience of managing and motivating a team, including both business and technical staff, and of working effectively as part of a wider, multi-disciplinary team.

Proven negotiation skills, including managing third party supplier relationships.

Proven ability to manage, plan and take responsibility for a range of tasks involving interaction with and the co-operation of business and IT people, including the agreement of technical solutions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to relate confidently and effectively to users at all levels.
