OT Security Engineer 

Summary Description:
We are seeking an OT Security Engineer  to safeguard factory Operational Technology environments from cyber threats. The role focuses on integrating security in projects and supporting factory operations, based on IEC 62443 standards.

Role Type: Contract – Fixed Term (12 months, part-time 60%)

Salary: Day Rate + Expenses (Consultant provides own laptop and phone)

Location/Language: Onsite –  Sweden / English (fluent spoken and written)

Requirements Description:

• University degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or similar

• Mandatory drug test prior to onboarding

• Strong interest or basic understanding of production-critical environments and Operational Technology

Tasks Description:

• Drive security requirements and support project teams with secure designs and products

• Perform threat modeling, assessments, and compliance testing

• Develop and implement OT security strategies and standards

• Provide input and reports to project governance for informed decision-making

• Collaborate with DevSecOps and application development teams

Essential Skills/Experience Description:

• Security architecture and design

• Threat modeling

• Security assessment and testing

• Experience as a Security Champion or Coach

• Secure software development (DevSecOps practices)

• Knowledge of security products: endpoint protection, IAM, firewalls, hardening

• Familiarity with infrastructure technologies: networks, servers, cloud environments

Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:

• Experience with OT-specific environments

• Familiarity with IEC 62443 standard

• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial automation security

• Ability to work independently with cross-functional teams
