Programme Manager (Migration and Go-live), 12 months, London (Hybrid) £650-700 per day

Our global banking customer are looking for a Programme Manager to run the following; Existing Base Metals trading platform to Murex MX.3 Programme requires a Migration and Go-live Manager at programme level to lead / co-ordinate the migration of Base Metal trades across the technology stack and subsequently lead and own the go-live runbook.

Migration and Go-Live Manager Responsibilities:

1. Migration Planning and Execution:

Coordinate business migration requirements with respective business owners

Devise migration approach and strategy (should leverage existing / recent Precious Metals migration materials)

Participate in preparing quality assessments, reports, and metrics.

Coordinate migration issue resolutions and defect closure

Co-ordinate and lead the execution of migration activities for testing and final deployment and ensure accurate recording of results.

2. Go-Live Planning and Execution:

Lead development of go-live runbook in close coordination with IT and business functions

Coordinate and own go-live activities for the programme

3. Team Management:

Act as the main liaison between the team and internal/external stakeholders.

Supervise/support staff members in migration development and delivery.

Develop detailed work plans, track status, and produce high-quality deliverables.

4. Technical Expertise:

Define and implement migration strategies and approaches.

Ensure quality reviews of deliverables

Stay updated on migration methodologies and tools.

Hands on Experience in managing migrations in a fast paced environment

Go-live Manager Qualifications:

• Education: A relevant degree (e.g., Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Investment Banking Processes and Base Metals
• Murex experience
• Familiarity with agile/scrum practices.
• Must be a highly organised communicative individual, strong with co-ordinating multiple teams / systems, experienced in building/reviewing and executing runbooks.

Experience with Investment Banking, Commodities (Base Metals) and the Murex Platform/migrations experience highly desirable.
