Project Manager

Technical Project Manager -  Premier Credit Card Processor – Munich (Hybrid)

We are recruiting for one of the most preeminent credit card processing firm established in 1995, upheld by trusted entities such as Deutsche Kreditbank AG (DKB) and Bavarian savings banks. With an enduring commitment to "Always good cards," the company is undergoing significant digital overhaul. We are actively seeking IT Project Managers specializing in Digitization to be pivotal parts of their central team in Munich.

Your mission will involves supervising and ensuring the seamless integration of IT projects. This includes leading software development, IT infrastructure initiatives, and launching state-of-the-art applications that define the future of cashless payments. They recently transitioned to modern IT architectures, emphasizing agile development and deployment in cloud-native environments utilizing cutting-edge tools and frameworks.
Being a part of this venture means collaborating with a multi-talented team, from seasoned developers to insightful product owners and QA professionals. They operate within a 2-week sprint Agile framework, with a prime focus on crafting a robust financial platform capable of managing vast data sets and executing intricate computations.

Technical Expertise:
Java-based architectures, IT infrastructures, Agile methodologies, and tools such as Jira and Confluence. Familiarity with cloud environments, software integration, and an understanding of the broader application landscape will be advantageous.

Key Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or a comparable discipline.
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience in IT project management, software development, and application integration.
- Proficiency in agile development methods, especially Scrum and Kanban.
- Commitment to quality: adherence to Clean Code principles, Test-Driven Development, and best practices.
- An inherent drive to solve complex challenges and develop optimal software solutions.
- Fluency in German is a must; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Eagerness to stay abreast of contemporary trends in software development.
