SAP ABAP Developer – 6 months contract Hybrid remote and on site
Scope:
Location will be Lisbon, Braga or Coimbra and the working model will be hybrid. Candidates must be living in Portugal.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP on HANA Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing SAP solutions, with a strong focus on ABAP programming in an SAP HANA environment. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization to effectively support and enhance our SAP applications.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, test, and implement SAP ABAP solutions on the HANA platform.
· Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
· Optimize and enhance existing SAP applications for performance and scalability.
· Develop custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows using ABAP/4 and ABAP Objects.
· Nice to have hands-on experience with Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP RAP.
· Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
· Maintain documentation for developed solutions and provide user training as needed.
· Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
· Proficient in ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects and ABAP for HANA.
· Mandatory experience with skills RAP, Adobe Form and Workflows.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
· Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
· Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
· SAP certification in ABAP or HANA.
Work Environment:
· This role may require occasional travel for client meetings or project requirements.
· Flexibility to work in a hybrid or remote setting, as per company policy.
Start date: Portuguese and English
Location: Lisbon or Braga or Coimbra
Duration: 6 months
