SAP BW Datasphere consultant – Dutch speaking – Contract role
The role: To guide and steer the transition from SAP BW Classic to SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Datasphere. Designing modern and scalable data architectures that fit within SAP's cloud ecosystem.
Assess the current SAP BW environment, including data flows, cubes, DSOs, and other objects. Identify elements that need to be migrated, transformed or redefined for BW/4HANA and Datasphere.
Establish a realistic migration roadmap that aligns with business objectives. Target architecture design: Designing the SAP BW/4HANA architecture to meet current and future needs. Integrate SAP Datasphere into the SAP ecosystem to support real-time analytics, hybrid data integration (on-premise and cloud), and advanced use cases. Ensuring compatibility with external systems (databases, BI solutions, etc.).
Migration and technical implementation: Guiding the project team through the conversion of classic SAP BW objects to optimized BW/4HANA objects. Configure SAP Datasphere, including the creation of spaces, connections and data models. Optimize system performance with in-memory data management via SAP HANA. Collaboration and training: Collaborate with stakeholders (IT and business) to align the architecture with strategic needs. Train teams on best practices for development and use of BW/4HANA and Datasphere. Optimization and innovation: Applying SAP innovations in the field of data analytics (AI, machine learning, multi-cloud data integration). Identify opportunities to improve data governance and security.
The following skills are required
:
* SAP BW/4HANA: Expertise in modelling and migrating BW objects to BW/4HANA.
* In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA and in-memory functions.
*SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud): Experience designing and managing spaces and data models.
* Skills in integration with SAP and non-SAP systems.
* Related tools: SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). SAP BPC.
* Experience with ETL tools and data integration.
* Additional knowledge: Language skills in SQL, ABAP or Python (for extensions). Understanding hybrid architectures (on-premise and cloud).
Start date: Immediate
Languages: Dutch and English
Location: Anderlecht 2 days per week with the other 2 days per week remote
Duration: 60 months (long term project)
