SAP Digital Manufacturing (DMC) functional Subject Matter Expert (SME)

As a SAP Digital Manufacturing functional Subject Matter Expert (SME), your role involves in-depth knowledge and expertise in leveraging SAP solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Here are some key aspects of your role:
SAP Manufacturing Solutions: You should have a comprehensive understanding of SAP's suite of manufacturing solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME), SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII), SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo), and other relevant modules.
Business Process Analysis: Work closely with manufacturing stakeholders to analyze current business processes, identify pain points, and recommend improvements through the implementation of SAP digital manufacturing solutions. This involves understanding various manufacturing processes such as Production planning, shop floor execution, quality management, maintenance, and resource optimization.
Solution Design and Configuration: Design and configure SAP digital manufacturing solutions to align with business requirements. This includes defining master data structures, configuring process routings, work centers, production orders, bill of materials (BOM), and other relevant configurations to support efficient manufacturing operations.
Integration with SAP ERP: Ensure seamless integration between digital manufacturing solutions and other SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), Finance (FI), and Controlling (CO). This involves configuring integration points, data mapping, and monitoring data flow between different systems.
Shop Floor Execution: Oversee the implementation of SAP Manufacturing Execution (ME) solution to streamline shop floor operations, track production activities in real-time, manage work orders, and capture production data for analysis and reporting.
Quality Management: Implement SAP Quality Management (QM) module to enforce quality standards, perform inspections, manage non-conformances, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Maintenance Management: Utilize SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module to manage equipment, plan and schedule maintenance activities, track downtime, and optimize asset performance.
Analytics and Reporting: Leverage SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) to create real-time dashboards, KPIs, and reports to monitor key manufacturing metrics such as production efficiency, yield, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Change Management and Training: Lead change management activities to ensure smooth transition to new digital manufacturing processes and systems. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize adoption and utilization of SAP solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process enhancements to optimize manufacturing operations and drive business value.
