Position: SAP DM (Data Management) Senior Consultant
Start Date: ASAP (Target: August)
Location: On-site in Italy (5 days per week)
Language Requirements: Fluent Italian required
Contract Type: Freelance – All-inclusive daily rate
Duration: Initial 19-month phase (Explore phase started Feb 17th)
Client: Manufacturing sector – 7000 users on site
Interview Process:

• 1st stage
  2nd stage: End client
  (Interviews possible this week; Thursday is a Portuguese public holiday)

Project Context:

• End customer is a large manufacturing company currently in the initial Explore Phase of a long-term SAP implementation.

• The current incumbent is transitioning out by end of June.

• There is an ongoing knowledge transfer (KT) process.

• You will join at a foundational stage of the project.

• The team already includes one other consultant, but not working full-time on-site.

• US client committed to this phase; project signed in May.

Consultant Requirements:

• Proven experience with SAP Data Management in large-scale manufacturing environments.

• Minimum two full-cycle MI project implementations.

• Ability to assess architecture, propose alternatives, and support detailed analysis.

• Italian-speaking and Italy-based for tax/legal compliance.

• Comfortable with being on-site five days a week; possible early Friday finish.

• Located within reasonable commute (ideally within ~90 minutes drive).
