SAP EWM IM Architect
Next Ventures are executing a search for a SAP IM/EWM (Logistic Expert) for a 12 months contract in Norway .
Hybrid working opportunity with onsite visits to client site in Stavanger .
SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) as an architect specializing in SAP Inventory Management (IM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM). As an SAP architect, your responsibilities would likely involve designing and overseeing the implementation of SAP solutions related to inventory management and warehouse operations.
Your expertise in SAP IM and EWM indicates a deep understanding of logistics processes within organizations. You would be expected to design solutions that optimize inventory control, streamline warehouse operations, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency using SAP's software suite.
Your role might involve collaborating with stakeholders across various departments, including logistics, procurement, production, and IT, to gather requirements, define system architectures, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Additionally, you may be involved in configuring SAP systems, conducting workshops and training sessions, and providing ongoing support and optimization to ensure the effective utilization of SAP IM/EWM modules.
Overall, as an SAP architect specializing in IM/EWM, you would play a critical role in driving digital transformation initiatives within organizations, particularly in the realm of logistics and supply chain management
Start ASAP
Duration- 12 months
Travel to Stavanger 1-2 times per month (must be able to travel to Norway without passport or visa requirement)
Overall requirement:
The current scope is to manage the existing landscape and its pain areas in terms of Logistic support this scope runs in parallel to the ongoing S4 Transformation program.
Good to have Oil & Gas Industry experience and additional plus for one having S4 HANA End to End Project experience.
SME or one working as an Architect is the requirement
SAP IM/EWM and maybe even SAP Field Logistics (SAP Inventory management, SAP Extended warehouse management)
Experience with equipment and serialized material masters
Knowledge on SAP PS (WBS/Networks) – SAP Project Systems.
Design and implement SAP EWM and IM solutions to meet business requirements.
Configure SAP EWM and IM modules according to best practices and client specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define system architectures.
Lead workshops and training sessions to educate end-users on SAP EWM and IM functionalities.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM and IM modules, addressing issues and optimizing system performance.
Participate in project planning, including scoping, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Stay current with industry trends and SAP updates related to EWM and IM modules, advising on potential enhancements or optimizations.
Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum [5] years of experience in SAP EWM and IM implementation and support.
Proficiency in configuring SAP EWM and IM modules, including warehouse structures, master data, inbound/outbound processes, and inventory management.
Strong understanding of warehouse management and inventory control principles and best practices.
Experience with integration between SAP EWM, IM, and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
SAP certification in EWM and IM modules preferred.
Experience with S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings and project implementations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the SAP EWM/IM domain.
