Description The data (and documents) in the SAP R/3 system and in the KGS archive must be stored before decommissioning the SAP R/3 system in order to fulfil the retention obligations in such a way that they can be stored For the duration of the retention obligation:
  • available
  • findable
  • comprehensible (history)
  • cannot be manipulated
are.
Many data and documents from SAP R/3 are currently moved to a KGS archive (SAP language ‘archived’).
After the expiry of the retention period, the data must be deleted accordingly.
The plan is to use SAP ILM for this.

Test design and organisation
 

Mandatory criteria
  • Know-how and at least 2 years of experience in data management at SAP Basis, including with SAP ILM (focus on retention warehouse in S/4)
  • Knows Solution Manager and Jira
  • Senior experience in decommissioning of SAP R/3 systems, projects and migration of data and documents
 

Target criteria
  • Knows the application KGS Archiv and has already worked with it on projects    
  • Knows the structures in asset management and maintenance in SAP R/3 with the links between the objects such as: TP, EQU, documents, work plans, maintenance orders, etc.
  • Knows 3rd party solutions in the field of data archiving (such as the KGS archive)
  • Understands current technologies related to integration and migration of SAP with third-party solutions
 
Deployment
  • Immediately or 21 April 25
  • In the analysis phase 40% (currently May)
  • in the concept phase 40-60%(May/June)
  • In the implementation phase – (from July, will be developed jointly as required)
