SAP Platform – Product owner – Utilities and CRM –
Scope:
SAP Platform - Product owner profile .
Our client is looking for a product owner for their SAP Platform (S4 Core Utilities and SAP CRM). The SAP Platform is the ‘financial heart’ of their IT landscape. Last year they upgraded to SAP Rise Core Utilities and now are looking for an experienced Product owner to take the platform to the next level together with the platform team and community.
Your role will be to set the roadmap to take our client’s SAP platform to a next level. They want to increase their innovation speed on the SAP Platform by modernizing engineering practices, decreasing time to market for innovation while increasing quality & availability of the platform. As a platform team you have a big impact on our organization and they expect you to manage a large and diverse stakeholder field well. Your timely engagement with business stakeholders, and also speak the language of engineers that develop on the SAP platform. You will establish and communicate a clear vision and roadmap for the platform.

Results we expect:
• Increased stakeholder engagement and alignment including the:
o SAP Community that develops on the platform o IT teams connecting to and using SAP API’s
o Business stakeholders of the systems
• Smooth planning and alignment of innovations and changes on the platform, e.g. upgrade processes.
• Clear shared vision the SAP platform (team) in line with the strategic IT goals together with SAP community lead. Key competences:
• Pro-active attitude, taking ownership and engaging the organization and team
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Excellent communication skills
Product and project management skills Experience expected:
• 10+ years in a product owner or product management role
• Multiple years as a lead or product owner on a technical platform team
• Experience in a complex enterprise environment with multiple vendors, teams and technology stacks.
• SAP experience is a strong plus, not a must
• Dutch speaking is a plus, not a must
Start date: Immediate
Languages: English (Dutch is a bonus but not a prerequisite)
Location: remote with onsite in Utrecht 2 or 3 days per week
Duration: 12 months
