Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced S/4HANA Finance Consultant to support the delivery and optimisation of SAP S/4HANA Finance within a public sector environment. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders, programme teams, and systems integrators to ensure compliant, efficient, and robust finance processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support configuration of S/4HANA Finance modules (e.g. GL, AP, AR, AA).
Translate public sector finance requirements into SAP S/4HANA solutions.
Support data migration, testing (SIT/UAT), and cutover activities.
Advise on best practice, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
Provide functional expertise during implementation and post-go-live support.
Work collaboratively with business, technical, and change teams.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as an SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) Consultant.
Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes.
Experience working on SAP implementations or transformations.
Previous public sector experience (desirable).
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Desirable:
Knowledge of public sector financial governance and reporting.
Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
Security clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance.
