Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP OTC Functional Lead Retail    / Solution Architect (SAP  OTC/SCM  ) 
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark – at least 3-4 days onsite.

The role overview:
Acting as a key customer representative and subject matter expert for SAP SD / SCM and business processes transformation,  covering Overall OTC organization structures associated  to  a large retail company with integration  and expertise on e-commerce / OMNI Chanel and Sourcing, the role will optimize customer Order To Cash  functions by delivering end-end implementations, upgrades and enhancements and offer support for S4HANA solutions.   The person will be OTC  lead and will be part of the central template team in Europe responsible to drive Global template implementation and also defining  align the Global SCM Order Management,  OMINI & retail strategy  
 
Responsibilities:
  • To develop a strong understanding of client operations and make well-founded suggestions for improvement through the use of SAP S4HANA, Retail and SAP CAR
  • Give trusted advice and explain standard SAP configuration within SAP SD and SAP CAR  and the impact of changes upon solutions and/or business process.
  • To provide a level of strategic advice to customers for system design.
  • Advise customers on relevant best practice processes.
  • To design, build and implement complex SAP S4HANA Sales & Distribution, SAP Retail Best Practice integrating the customer solutions including E-commerce and other best of breed solutions on the retail market
  • Lead and facilitate customer workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Lead the creation and completion of blueprint documentation and target operation model.
  • Independently put together complex, accurate and suitable functional specifications and drive the SAP FIT to standard methodology 
  • Actively contribute to pre-sales activities including project estimation and defining scope of work, product demonstrations, RFP responses, quotations, SOW, proof of concepts and customer assessments.
  • Attend relevant company workshops and meetings and drive the FIT to Standard Sessions
  • Keep up to date with the latest SAP technology, particularly within the Supply Chain on S4HANA and  SAP Retail and  SAP CAR platforms
Required Skills, Experience and Knowledge
 
Essential:
  • An excellent functional understanding of SAP SD and solid knowledge on retail  (S4HANA SD  and SCM and  SAP CAR integration).
  • Experienced in OTC  /  S4HANA SD including SCM  Order Management/ Fulfillment  including integration with retail SAP CAR, covering  configuration and design requirements .
  • Ability to conduct business process discussion and facilitate system framework decisions around S4HANA SD and SCM  ( including all overall integration with SAP CAR and other best of breed solution as e-commerce )
  • Proficient experience in interface development (RFC/ALE/IDoc/Web Services), support configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Extensive experience in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation
  • Certification in SAP on S4HAHA SD or SCM would be a plus
  • Experience with fast moving on retail industry considering OMNI / E-commerce / B2C and B2B sourcing strategies
  • Experience on different Industries as CPG, Beauty and Retail.
  • Experience on different Business scenarios including high volume of sales via Store or E-commerce, Invoicing and Billing
