SAP Stream Lead Architect

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP Stream Lead Architect ,Accountable for the overall E2E solution architecture within process area (e.g. MTS, MTO, Post delivery) Drive the overall E2E solution design, prioritization and estimation Involve relevant business representatives as required Within a S4HANA project to design a template and implement at Production Units globally. Main scope is S4HANA Production (PP, PP/DS), Logistics (LE, IM, EWM, TM), Sales, Purchasing, Production preparation order engineering (EPPM), Finance and Business Controlling,

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Conduct workshops to gather business requirements.
  • Design and configure PPDS solutions, including production planning and detailed scheduling processes.
  • Optimize planning and scheduling processes to improve production efficiency.

• Integration & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and EWM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in supply chain, manufacturing, and logistics to deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Configuration & Customization:

  • Configure planning strategies, heuristic algorithms, and optimizer profiles.
  • Set up master data, including resources, production versions, PDS (Product Data Structures), and routings.

• Project Management Support:

  • Assist in defining project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.

• Testing & Training:

  • Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Conduct end-user training and provide documentation for configured solutions.

• Post-Go-Live Support:

  • Provide hyper-care support during stabilization phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to PPDS.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

  • 10+ years of SAP implementation experience, with at least 5 years specializing in PPDS.
  • Hands-on experience with S/4HANA Advanced Planning (PPDS) and familiarity with APO.
  • Strong knowledge of master data (PDS, BOM, Routing, Work Centers) and transactional data.

• Functional Knowledge:

  • Expertise in planning methods: finite scheduling, capacity planning, heuristics, and optimization.
  • Understanding of Make-to-Order (MTO) and Make-to-Stock (MTS) scenarios.

• Industry Experience:

  • Experience in discrete manufacturing, automotive, consumer goods, or process industries is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with shop-floor integration tools like MES and SCADA is a plus.

• Methodologies:

  • Proficient in SAP Activate methodology and agile project management practices.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA PPDS Certification.
• Experience in integration with tools like SAP EWM, IBP, and GTS.
• Knowledge of batch management and variant configuration.

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
