SAP Treasury Lead
SAP Treasury Lead (Contract)
Location: Germany (travel required) | Duration: 6 months | Sector: Healthcare
The Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Treasury Lead to join a healthcare client on a 6-month contract. You will lead the design, configuration and delivery of SAP Treasury and Risk Management capabilities, working closely with Finance, Treasury and IT stakeholders. Regular travel to Germany will be required for workshops, design sessions and on-site delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Treasury workstream, setting direction and coordinating delivery across functional and technical teams
- Design and configure Treasury-to-GL integration
- Support FX and derivatives processes across the full transaction lifecycle
- Support investment and borrowing processes within Transaction Manager
- Design and implement risk and hedge management solutions, including hedge accounting
- Run workshops with stakeholders, document requirements and translate them into solution designs
- Support testing, cutover and hypercare, and transfer knowledge to the client team
Required Skills and Experience
GL Integration
- Account Assignment References (AARs) and their derivation
- Valuation classes, reclassifications and GL account determination
- Update types and position management procedures
FX and Derivatives
- FX products and FX-related market data classes
- Financial transaction lifecycle
Investments and Borrowings
- Securities and money market instruments
- Supporting processes within Transaction Manager
Risk and Hedge Accounting
- FX risk hedging (cash flow and balance sheet) and interest rate risk hedging
- Exposure Management and Hedge Management
- Concepts behind the Treasury Analyzers family
- Hedge accounting
Desirable
- Prior experience in healthcare or other regulated industries
- Experience leading small teams or workstreams in a consulting or contract capacity
- Fluent English; German is an advantage
