Senior IT System Administrator - 3-6 months - Remote

For a leading, global customer in the digital services and solutions industry we are looking for an IT System Administrator to support IT infrastructure projects on premise and in the cloud.
  • This is an initial 3-6 month contract that could extend beyond that
  • Remote working in CET hours
  • ASAP start

The Job Role
  • Support IT operations for customers 
  • Automation of operations and tasks for maintenance of server Infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud
  • Development of new projects within the infrastructure domain
  • Server administration such as monitoring, troubleshooting, backup, recovery
  • Installation of servers, devices etc 
  • Managing hyper-convergence systems (Nutanix) and virtualisation environments such as VMware and HyperV 
  • Managing IT on AWS and Azure cloud platforms
Your Experience 
  • Over 5 years experience with IT system administration and IT infrastructure services
  •  Experience in Microsoft environments, Active Directory, backup (Veeam) and recovery and monitoring (Zabbix)
  • Hands on experience with virtualisation environments, VMware and HyperV
  • Knowledge of relational databased (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Experience programming and/or scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash, PowerShell)
