Senior Java Engineer
Senior Java Software Engineer | B2B Payment Solution Organisation | Hybrid Berlin
We are recruiting for a leading digital payments organisation operating in the B2B sector. Their software solution provides the fastest and most secure way businesses make payments. Due to the demand in their product and services, they are searching for a Senior Java Software Engineer to join the team as part of the company’s growth and dominance in this area.
They are revolutionising the way that businesses collaborate with one another on a large scale. With clients including Deutsch Telekom, ProSiebenSat, BT and more, the organisation is growing from strength to strength whilst expanding their offering.
The business is part of a larger conglomerate who are leading specialists for communication and transaction services in globally. The have employees based out of several locations across Germany and are Head-Quartered in the Highest Rated Eco-Friendly office park in Berlin.
You will have the opportunity to be part of an experienced modern agile development team and a business that offers you unlimited career progression opportunities. You are expected to design and implement spring-based applications as a Java Engineer, gather requirements whilst designing and coordinating software architectures with the wider team. You will develop unit and integration tests, as well as deploy and rollout new/robust versions of their software across all environments.
Your profile
- 4+ years of professional experience in object-oriented application development.
- Great knowledge of Java and JVM-based languages, modern technologies and architectures such as Spring, reactive programming or microservices.
- Knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases.
- Experience with modern state-of-the-art technologies such as AMQP, Spring, spring-boot, Hibernate, ElasticSearch, Kubernetes.
- You are no stranger to a cross collaborative work environment.
- You enjoy mentoring junior engineers
- Speak Fluent German
