Senior WEBFOCUS Expert consultant (IBI) - Contract - Start ASAP - 12 months - France (Hybrid)

Next Ventures seeks an experienced WEBFOCUS expert consultant to service its client based in Nantes for a long term.

Job Description :

This role aims to support the ibi WebFOCUS infrastructure for the client.

Responsibilities:

Provide product expertise to the team to maintain the WebFOCUS environment, identify and fix issues

Provide product and database expertise around performance

Help design new (or maintain current) applications and tools

Skills required:

• • • • Good knowledge of the FOCUS code
      • Designer report and charts development, Designer pages and portals
      • APPSTUDIO HTML Resource Layout
      • HTML, JavaScript, (ideally some Java development skills)

·       Help upgrade the environment to new release

·       Help take advantage of ibi WebFOCUS new features or new components

·       Help to build internal training material and promote the solution

·       Manage communication with Vendor product support team.

The client has a large deployment with (5*3) 15 environments that represent (22 WebFOCUS Clients and 50 WebFOCUS Reporting servers)

·       WebFOCUS configuration skills required:

• • • • Load balancing
      • Differed processing
      • Report Caster
      • Security features : WebFOCUS client security rules and templates, WebFOCUS Server security features
      • Ideally knowledge of the WebFOCUS repository internal database
      • Access SSO security (Kerberos)

·       WebFOCUS Code development APPSTUDIO, Creating Designer visualizations, pages, portals

·       SQL, relational database performance, ideally VERTICA (columnar database)

·       WebFOCUS Resource Analyzer

·       WebFOCUS Metadata : Business views
