As a Senior Data Modeler, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing and maintaining data models on a conceptual, logical, but mostly physical level.
In this role it is critical you can write complex SQL queries to understand the structure of a database and find data issues.

You need to understand dataflows and be able to create a mapping. You need to interpret documentation on datastructures and industry standards on medicinal information and understand what that implies to a datamodel.

Your typical day will involve developing and evolve data models and database designs, collaborating with stakeholders to understand existing databases and create datamodels for it, understand dataflows and create mappings for it. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to other teams and contribute to the overall data architecture strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Data Modeling: Create and manage data models and mappings, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, readability and accessibility across different systems.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand dataflows and databases, and translate them into mappings and datamodels
• Issue tracking: Analyse data inconsistencies, log them and support other teams to solve these issues and other questions.
Skill requirements
• Very proficient in SQL and experience with relational database management systems
• Strong knowledge of data management concepts and tools
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with tools as SQL Developer and PowerDesigner are a must.
