Our Fintech client, headquartered in the US, is a market leader in providing data and business intelligence to help financial services professionals make faster and smarter investment decisions.

They are building out an engineering team in Bogota, Colombia and they are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer (iOS and Android), who will collaborate with other experienced developers to design, develop and implement solutions to enable their users to navigate the complexities of global credit markets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain iOS and Android applications
• Translate requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, build, test, and realize new features.
• Conduct code reviews and address performance issues
• Stay updated with mobile development trends.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of mobile app development, including Android SDK, Swift, and/or Objective-C.
• Proficiency in at least one core programming language (Kotlin for Android; Swift for iOS).
• Experience with mobile development frameworks and tools such as React Native, Xamarin, etc.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of mobile UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools (like Instruments and Shark, depending on platform).
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• Knowledge of mobile app security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong passion for mobile technologies.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration with mobile applications
