Staff Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development Leadership: Lead the design and development of sophisticated, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Actively contribute code while managing the team, striking a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and ensuring clarity in all engineering decisions. Bridge technical and non-technical domains for seamless collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 12+ years in software engineering, with leadership experience in a startup environment. Must have a track record of coding alongside managing teams.
• Healthcare Innovation Passion: A strong interest in leveraging technology to improve healthcare and empower individuals in managing their health.
• Software Development Expertise: Proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
• Cloud & Containerization: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and containerization tools (Docker).
• Engineering Best Practices: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD.
• Large-Scale Systems: Experience designing and maintaining large-scale, complex systems.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills to understand and simplify complex systems.
