Head of Cyber Centre of Excellence 

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Head of Cyber Centre of Excellence to serve as our Cybersecurity Operations Manager. In this dual role, you will lead our dedicated team, ensuring the effective delivery of cybersecurity services.

Responsibilities:

People Management:

• Establish clear governance, roles, and accountability within the team.
• Provide coaching and guidance for team members' professional development.
• Lead recruitment efforts to onboard qualified individuals.

Financial and Capacity Management:

• Determine yearly budget (OPEX and CAPEX) and monitor it through KPIs.
• Manage capacity planning for operational activities and projects.

Service Management:

• Develop and maintain a capability and service catalog owned by the team.
• Oversee lifecycle management of capabilities and services, identifying and escalating risks.
• Innovate and enhance services to meet customer or business needs.

Project Management:

• Translate new services into concrete projects, acting as a project sponsor for lead experts.
• Ensure adherence to internal processes and timely delivery of project initiation and proposals.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of leadership experience with teams of 5 or more members.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, IT operations, or related domains.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO27001, CRISC, SANS).
• Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Dutch (C2), French (C2), and English (C1).
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and regulations.
• Familiarity with SIEM, SOC penetration testing, security incident management, and risk management.
