Summary Description:
We are seeking an experienced VMware Administrator to focus on VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), Tanzu Kubernetes, and NSX-T networking. This role involves managing Tanzu on VCF, utilizing NSX-T for network virtualization, and contributing to DevOps architecture to ensure optimal infrastructure performance and security.

Requirements Description:

• Citizenship permitting work in Norway, Sweden, or Finland (as per country policies)
• Valid security clearance or potential to obtain this
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Tasks Description:

• Administer and optimize VMware Tanzu Kubernetes Platform (TKP) and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Leverage VMware NSX-T for network virtualization, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Manage VMware Tanzu Mission Control for centralized Kubernetes management.
• Collaborate with teams to implement and scale infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in a 4-week on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and outside office hours.

Essential Skills/Experience Description:

• Extensive experience with VMware NSX-T, VMware Tanzu, and Tanzu Mission Control
• Proven experience in network virtualization and infrastructure management
• Experience working in a DevOps environment

Desirable Skills/Additional Information Description:

• In-depth knowledge of VMware NSX-T networking (configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning)
• General networking knowledge
• Experience with SUSE Rancher to Tanzu migrations
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
