Assignment Description In this role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a vCloud platform, onboarding new customers and providing technical support. You’ll also play a key role in lifecycle and capacity management, and drive platform innovation by implementing items from the roadmap.

You’ll contribute to broader cloud portfolio initiatives with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset. Alongside your colleagues, you’ll focus on enhancing the platform’s operational stability—particularly in terms of performance and availability—while championing standardization, automation, innovation, and maximum security.

Your daily work includes attending team stand-ups to review progress and tackle blockers, working in sprints using the Scrum methodology, and handling items from the sprint backlog. You’ll investigate incidents and outages to identify root causes, design and propose improvements, and assess change requests for feasibility and implementation.

You’ll design, implement, and manage various ICT environments, including development, production, and fallback setups. Every three weeks, your team will run retrospectives to evaluate processes and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Background This organization is a key player in cloud services, recognized for its focus on innovation and meeting evolving customer demands. A new cloud broker service—initially built on Microsoft Azure—is in development, aimed at expanding service offerings in response to increasing customer needs.

Requirements

• HBO degree level (Bachelor-equivalent)

• 5+ years of experience with VMware technologies: VCD, VCF, vSAN, NSX(T)

• Flexibility in adapting plans while maintaining clear objectives

• Self-starter with strong sense of ownership

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience

• Proven experience with cloud migrations (e.g., VCDA/HCX) and cloud services

• Working knowledge of VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCF/VVD

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) is a plus

• Interest or experience in consultancy and solution architecture
