Test Engineer (Automation) – 3 days onsite Brussels/2 days Remote – 6 months+

For a client in the Aerospace/Aviation industry we are looking for a Test Engineer for a 6 month extendable contract.
The Role
- Develop and configure test automation frameworks and execute stability and performance tests.
- Enhance test frameworks, develop and execute test automation through tools such as Python, Selenium, Jira, XRAY, JMeter etc.
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
- Analyse performance test requirements and develop test plans and debug
- Execute performance testing and present results for validating and analysis to Project Teams.
- Proactively identify additional test automation opportunities and analyse potential benefits
- Coordinate with program and development management teams in product development lifecycle to conform end user product and quality requirements and schedules.
- Prepare software defect tracking and report status of the testing activities to stakeholders
- French and English language skills
- Over 3 years experience in programming (python), designing and implementing test automation frameworks
- Demonstrable experience and skills implementing performance testing frameworks
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Analytical and problem solving focus
