SAP QM & GEF Consultant

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for an experienced SAP Quality Management (QM) and SAP Geo Framework) (GEF) Consultant to support a major S/4HANA implementation.
This role will focus on supporting , designing, configuring, and integrating SAP QM processes with the Global Enterprise Framework, ensuring compliance, traceability, and seamless collaboration across global operations.

*Danish speaking consultant required for interaction with key stakeholders and users , documentation will be in Danish*.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP QM processes in a regulated environment.
• Configure and integrate SAP Geo Framework)(GEF) for advanced compliance, global traceability, and structured reporting.
• Ensure alignment of QM processes with related modules such as MM, PP, PM, EWM, and PLM.
• Support quality planning, inspection, notification, and results recording processes.
• Enable integration of GEF with external systems for regulatory reporting, EH&S compliance, and sustainability.
• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into scalable SAP QM/GEF solutions.
• Provide guidance on master data governance for quality-related data.
• Develop functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
• Support testing, training, cutover, and hypercare phases.
• Advise on SAP best practices and roadmap for leveraging QM and GEF in S/4HANA.

Support & Operations

• Provide post-go-live application support for SAP QM and GEF, including issue resolution and defect management.
• Act as the first escalation point for incidents, service requests, and user-reported problems.
• Monitor system performance and ensure QM and GEF processes run smoothly across global sites.
• Work with Basis/technical teams to manage transports, system changes, and performance improvements.
• Deliver user training, knowledge transfer, and documentation to business teams.
• Manage authorization and security aspects related to QM/GEF transactions and compliance.

Continuous Improvement & Governance

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify process optimizations and enhancements.
• Develop functional specs for new reports, interfaces, and dashboards in QM/GEF.
• Ensure data consistency and governance for quality-related master data.
• Support regulatory audits, inspections, and compliance reporting.
• Stay up to date with SAP innovations (QM, GEF, GBT, EHS) and recommend adoption where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of SAP QM implementation experience, with at least 2 full lifecycle projects in S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of quality planning, in-process inspection, notifications, batch management, and certificates of analysis.
• Hands-on experience in SAP GEF (SAP Geo Framework) setup, integration, and reporting.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO, EHS, sustainability reporting).
• Experience in integration with EHS, PLM, PP, MM, PM, and logistics modules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English (additional languages a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP S/4HANA certification in QM or EHS.
• Prior experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, chemicals, or consumer goods.
• Familiarity with SAP GBT (Global Batch Traceability) and advanced compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps delivery models.
