Workday Financials Revenue Specialist

Summary Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Workday Financials Professional to manage and optimize revenue-related processes within the Workday system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Revenue modules, specifically in Customer, Customer Accounts, and Projects, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, billing, and financial reporting aligned with organization policies and accounting standards.

Requirements Description: 

  • Proven experience with Workday Financials, particularly in Revenue modules such as Customer, Customer Accounts, and Projects.
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles, billing processes, and revenue cycle management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with technical teams.
  • Workday certification or training related to Financials modules is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.

Tasks Description: 

  • Configure, implement, and maintain Workday Financials modules related to Revenue, including Customer, Customer Accounts, and Projects.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Manage customer and customer account data within Workday, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Support project setup, tracking, and revenue allocation to ensure proper billing and revenue recognition.
  • Assist in designing and implementing revenue-related workflows and business processes within Workday.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations and audits of revenue-related transactions and data.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to revenue modules, liaising with Workday support if necessary.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on revenue processes within Workday.
  • Stay updated on Workday developments and best practices for revenue management.
