This position focuses on helping organisations adopt and scale AI in a controlled, responsible way. You’ll define how AI is governed across different use cases, ensuring innovation moves forward without exposing the business to unnecessary risk.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and implement governance frameworks covering risk, security, compliance, and accountability for AI systems, including generative and autonomous solutions
Advise stakeholders on scaling AI across functions while maintaining appropriate controls around privacy, security, and reputation
Establish practical guardrails such as use-case classification, approval workflows, oversight mechanisms, and monitoring processes
Define governance approaches for more autonomous systems, including decision boundaries, escalation paths, and audit requirements
Collaborate with senior stakeholders across business, legal, technology, and data teams to align governance with operational needs
Translate regulatory and industry expectations into clear policies, operating models, and implementation plans
Facilitate governance forums, risk assessments, and cross-functional decision-making processes
Contribute to the evolution of AI governance capabilities, including internal development and external positioning
What you bring
Several years of experience (typically 8+) in areas such as AI governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, or related fields
Strong understanding of AI risk areas including security, bias, explainability, third-party risk, and lifecycle management
Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks or control environments in complex organisations
Ability to bridge strategic, regulatory, and technical perspectives and translate them into practical actions
Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders across different functions
A structured, pragmatic, and hands-on approach to problem-solving
Fluency in English
