SAP Test Manager – S/4HANA Transformation

Location: Aachen, Germany
Onsite: Approximately 2 days per week
Contract: 12 months+
Start: ASAP 
Languages: English required; German preferred, Dutch advantageous

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP Test Manager to join a major ECC to S/4HANA transformation programme for a leading international organisation in Aachen, Germany.

The programme is currently understood to be entering / operating within the testing phase, with an urgent requirement for a Test Manager to take ownership of the testing activities and help drive the programme through its next stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for test management within the SAP S/4HANA transformation programme.
• Lead and coordinate testing activities across the programme.
• Develop and manage the overall test strategy, approach and planning.
• Coordinate testing across business and technical stakeholders.
• Manage test preparation, execution, defect management and reporting.
• Work closely with project managers, functional teams, business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Monitor test progress, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Ensure testing activities are delivered according to agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Provide clear reporting and status updates to programme stakeholders.
• Support the programme through the testing phase and towards successful deployment.

Requirements

• Strong previous experience working as an SAP Test Manager / Test Lead.
• Proven experience within SAP transformation programmes, ideally involving ECC to S/4HANA migrations or implementations.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP testing processes and methodologies.
• Experience coordinating multiple testing workstreams and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a large-scale transformation environment.
• English language skills are essential.
• German is highly preferred.
• Dutch language skills would be advantageous.

Location & Working Model

The role is based in Aachen, Germany, close to the Germany / Netherlands / Belgium border.

Candidates can be based in Germany, the Netherlands or Belgium, provided they are within a reasonable commuting distance of Aachen and can commit to approximately 2 days onsite per week.
