Audit Technical Architect
Hi,
I'm working for Next Ventures, an IT recruitment company based in London. We’re currently leading a Front Office Audit and Architectural Review project within a major banking environment, and we’re looking for a senior Technical Architect to take the lead.
Responsibilities
The Technical Architect will lead a Front Office Audit Analysis and Recommendation Project in a complex financial setting:
- Lead the technical design and architectural strategy for the audit project as the designated Technical Leader/Architect.
- Perform detailed technical analysis and a simple audit of existing Front Office banking systems.
- Focus heavily on systems related to pre-trade processes and the Forex product domain.
- Ensure the proposed architecture achieves good performance and can efficiently handle a large amount of trade/financial data.
- Operate effectively in a tricky environment that requires more than standard business-as-usual (BAU) consulting experience.
- Develop clear, actionable architectural recommendations based on audit findings, leveraging a global understanding of financial systems.
- Serve as the IT Responsible alongside the existing team, providing technical oversight and guidance.
Mandatory Expertise
- Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of technical experience
- Domain Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of the banking universe (specifically trading/financial services) and the Front Office.
- Technical Stack: Current proficiency in C# and .NET technologies.
- Specialized Experience: Proven track record in projects requiring experienced, non-classic technical approaches, such as front office audit and systems handling large data volumes.
Contract: Freelance
Start date: January 2026
Duration: 3 months + extension
Conditions: Remote with ocassional
Rate: Depending on experience
